ASSE 6020 - Medical Gas Inspectors

The ASSE 6020 credential is intended for individuals who oversee or manage the installation, inspection, maintenance, or verification of medical gas and vacuum systems, including personnel working in healthcare facilities, design firms, engineering offices, and construction environments.

Candidates must complete training through a recognized medical gas training provider covering applicable requirements of NFPA 99, NFPA 55, and the ASSE 6000 Series standards, as well as the fundamentals of medical gas and vacuum systems, system safety, and regulatory compliance.

MyMedGas Credentialing provides the ASSE 6020 examination and credentialing services only. Training, instruction, textbooks, hands-on activities, and course materials are not included and must be obtained separately. Proof of successful completion of the required training must be provided prior to examination and credential issuance.

Candidates must successfully pass the ASSE 6020 examination to earn the credential.
